Bakin` Bagels Ortley New Jersey in Ortley Beach

Its a breakfast place down the shore so of course it's crazy busy during the season but on the plus side it means the bagels are always super fresh and often times still hot. They've recently opened an outside window and a second counter to order sandwiches so it's somewhat streamlined in the way it operates. If I had any criticism, it might be that some additional variety in bagel types might be nice.

Bangin' bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and a lot more. Need to try their pizza. My sausage egg & cheese on everything bagel and iced coffee were fantastic 👌

Ordered an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and lox and have to admit it was disappointing. Bagel taste was spot on, however, the cream cheese was lackluster and lox was something to skip. Great customer service, but might be a better place to grab a BEC or PEC. Save the lox for your favorite northern/central NJ bagel spot.

Awesome food, never disappoints!

Charged us for 4 bagels $20, got 3 bagels. Ordered 2 taylor ham and egg, got cheese and egg. Ordered 2 plain bagels with scallion cream cheese, got one bagel with scallion cream cheese. I would only go back here if it was the last bagel place in all of New Jersey. Avoid Southern Jersey in total for bagels. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!EDIT: The other bagel that wasn't scallion cream cheese was salmon cream cheese. How can someone mess up this bad! The person we sent to order the bagels went to the Quick Check down the street to get the everything bagels with taylor ham and egg after they noticed the bagel was messed up (we have a kid who's a picky eater) and this bagel was better than all the bagels we had here! Never! Again!

This morning we had an everything bagel toasted with the garlic and herb cream cheese as well as a cinnamon raisin bagel with cinnamon walnut cream cheese. Both were fantastic.This location has some great outdoor seating and is less than 100 yards fro the walkover for the beach. Great place to visit any time of year.Bakin Bagels is a great spot to get your morning bagel, an amazing sandwich or a decent slice of pizza at the beach. There are actually a few of them near the beach.

Great food, good price, very nice staff.

They have a sign that says “No Mask No Entry” but are serving people without masks. The cafe next door is taking the necessary precautions and offers breakfast and coffee. We took our business next door.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches here. I can’t even get them other places now. I would recommend the everything bagel as it’s seasoned on both sides!

Horrible organization, cut off by a rude man, waited over 24 minutes for a cold sandwich and 2 cold coffees. Hands me my food and I hadn't paid. Of course I paid. Only 1 guy was nice. Staff not so much. I know everyone is doing their best during COVID, but do better.

Amazing food! The ramen haired girl is quite offputting though, gangly nails and ramen hair!

For New Jersey bagles not bad at all. Sorry NY has the best. Must be the water. Clean place and nice folks

Great pizza. As good as any on strip. They also have fresh mozzarella for sale.
